I’ve been a practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 2003.

After my MBBS from SMC, Jodhpur, I worked at SMS Hospital, Jaipur, Apollo Hospital, New Delhi and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. I moved to Pune in 2000 and have adopted it as my home. Except for my DGO studies at KJ Somaiya Medical College at Sion in 2002-2003, I have been practicing in Aundh, Baner and Balewadi areas all through.

I became mother at the young age of 22 and again at 31. I have gone through 2 cesarean operations myself and am surrounded by software professionals in my family, including my husband. I can claim to understand the family, work and social pressures my patients go through. Hence, I try to be their friend first, gynaec later.

I am a strong believer in normal delivery and limited medication. I am also an active member of the Imperial Chapter of Inner Wheel Club through which I do most of my pro-bono work. A fitness enthusiast, I run regularly with an active group of runners in Baner-Balewadi.
